Facility Manager - Office Based, Uxbridge (fixed term contract)

The Role:


We are looking for a facility delivery manager with experience in office fitting/set up, the successful applicant will deliver operational management of the facilities function for our existing office and new offices on a national level.


Our HQ office will be undergoing major extension in 2018 and this role will be looking after the end-to-end office fitting project as well as provide and maintain a suitable working environment for all staff at current office space.


Responsibilities :


  • Hold responsibility for the planning, pricing, procurement and delivery of the new office extension and new offices

  • Ensure building & grounds meet Health & Safety requirements and comply with legislation

  • Provide facilities support at other Hikvision offices when required

  • Work collaboratively with the landlord to ensure local maintenance and upkeeps

  • Be responsible for local premises, working closely with third party suppliers

  • Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the facility.


Key skills required:


  • Previous Experience in delivery office fitting and facility setup projects in line with budget and deadlines

  • Strong understanding and experience of Facilities Management, maintenance, and facility-related topics, including health & safety

  • Cost management, procurement and negotiation skills with particular experience in the management of external contracts

  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure arrangements

  • PC literate with good knowledge of MS Office including Excel Flexible and adaptable work ethic

  • Confident in communicating with team members at all levels
